We invite you to join us this Thursday night for a truly Festival Ascension Divine Service. We are altering our normal Thursday night schedule and having the Divine Service at 7 p.m. Trumpet, violin, choir, you name it! And yes, Dr. Hoffman Too! Please make every effort to come. It's not very often we get to celebrate the Ascension during the school year but since Easter fell so early this year it is possible! See ya Thursday!Thursday Night Cook Needed!

This is a must see movie! Unfortunately, "Expelled" is not in Laramie at the moment. While we have wanted to have an outing to go see it, that is perhaps just hard to do on short notice and traveling to Cheyenne at this time of the year. But somehow, someway, figure out how to go see it. It is truly worth supporting. Check out the showtimes at the movie theatre at the Frontier Mall in Cheyenne. If it does happen to come to Laramie, maybe we'll still try to get a crew to go check it out locally!Welcome to New Members!
We were thrilled to witness the baptism of Cody Pate and Sarah Strong on Sunday, April 13 during the Divine Service, and to welcome them as new members! Welcome Cody and Sarah! Hooray!!! We surpassed our Thrivent Fundraising Goal by $4 raising $1304, which will be matched another $1300. This means that there will be $2604 available to help update the TV lounge and some other top floor needs. We'll keep you updated when specific decisions are made.Higher Things Magazines and Easter Reflections
The Higher Things Daily Reflections for the Easter Season are now available onlineon the narthex table. There are also several copies of the latest edition of the Higher things magazine.Higher Things Reflections are completely free, downloadable, and reprintable in pdf (though I wouldn't try it unless you can print double-sided copies), and you can also sign up to receive them via a daily e-mail or listen to them in mp3 audio format. This year's Easter Reflections are written by Rev. Greg Schultz, pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, Illinois. Pastor Schultz takes us through the joy-filled weeks of the Easter Season by pointing us over and over again to all that Jesus has done for us and still gives to us in His Gospel and Sacraments.
